Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PPM1D Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PPM1D data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher PPM1D Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PPM1D expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
UCEC, BLCA, and LGG are the cancer types where PPM1D Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
