Across TCGA patient cohorts, PPL protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 15,729 significant associations in total. LUAD shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PPL-associated genes across cancer lineages are EMP1, ALS2CL, and C1orf116. Each is linked with PPL in more than 7 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PPL-to-partner and partner-to-PPL results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, PPL versus EMP1 in HNSC, with a Pearson correlation of 0.32.
