Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PPIB Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PPIB data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in thymoma (THYM), where higher PPIB Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PPIB expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
THYM, SKCM, and SARC are the cancer types where PPIB Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
