Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PPFIBP2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PPFIBP2 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), where higher PPFIBP2 mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PPFIBP2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PDAC and HNSC show a favorable association.

PDAC, HNSC, and CCRCC are the cancer types where PPFIBP2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
