Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PPFIA1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PPFIA1 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher PPFIA1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PPFIA1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and BLCA show a favorable association.
SCLC, UCEC, and BLCA are the cancer types where PPFIA1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
