Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PPFIA1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PPFIA1 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), where higher PPFIA1 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PPFIA1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
GBM, PDAC, and UCEC are the cancer types where PPFIA1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
