Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PPEF1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PPEF1 data layer compared with 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher PPEF1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PPEF1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as DLBC and LUSC show a favorable association.

KIRP, ACC, and UVM are the cancer types where PPEF1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
