Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PPCS Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PPCS data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher PPCS Mutation is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PPCS expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA and UCEC show a favorable association.
BLCA, LUSC, and PRAD are the cancer types where PPCS Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
