Across TCGA patient cohorts, PPCS protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 14,101 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PPCS-associated genes across cancer lineages are ATP6V0B, MYCBP, and C1orf210. Each is linked with PPCS in more than 5 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PPCS-to-partner and partner-to-PPCS results are reported.
