Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PPARA Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PPARA data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher PPARA Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PPARA expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
CESC, UCEC, and LIHC are the cancer types where PPARA Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
