Across TCGA patient cohorts, PPARA mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 21 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PPARA-associated genes across cancer lineages are 4E-BP1, JNK2, and ER-alpha. Each is linked with PPARA in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PPARA-to-partner and partner-to-PPARA results are reported.
