Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PPA1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PPA1 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher PPA1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PPA1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
COAD, KIRC, and KIRP are the cancer types where PPA1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
