Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, POTEM Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated POTEM data layer compared with 13 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher POTEM Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated POTEM expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BLCA, ACC, and COAD are the cancer types where POTEM Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
