Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, POTEG Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated POTEG data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher POTEG Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated POTEG expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
SCLC, STAD, and LUAD are the cancer types where POTEG Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
