Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, POP5 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated POP5 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher POP5 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated POP5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LSCC and PDAC show a favorable association.

LUAD, CCRCC, and LSCC are the cancer types where POP5 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
