Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, POMP Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated POMP data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher POMP Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated POMP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
CESC, BRCA, and COAD are the cancer types where POMP Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
