Cross-omicsPROTEIN-MS → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts
Across TCGA patient cohorts, POMC protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 4,005 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible POMC-associated genes across cancer lineages are RNF43, GPRC5D, and IGFBPL1. Each is linked with POMC in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both POMC-to-partner and partner-to-POMC results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, POMC versus RNF43 in UCEC, with a Pearson correlation of 0.55.
protein abundance associated genes by consensus
Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (POMC→partner) and Y-score (partner→POMC) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
