Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, POLR3C Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated POLR3C data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher POLR3C Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated POLR3C expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
BRCA, GBM, and COAD are the cancer types where POLR3C Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
