Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, POLR3C mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated POLR3C data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), where higher POLR3C mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated POLR3C expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and LSCC show a favorable association.

PDAC, LUAD, and CCRCC are the cancer types where POLR3C mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
