Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, POLR2L mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated POLR2L data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher POLR2L mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated POLR2L expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and COAD show a favorable association.

UCEC, CCRCC, and LUAD are the cancer types where POLR2L mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
