Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, POLR2H RNA is linked to patient survival in 30 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated POLR2H data layer compared with 3 for mutation status and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher POLR2H RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated POLR2H expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUSC and DLBC show a favorable association.
LIHC, KICH, and ACC are the cancer types where POLR2H RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
