Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, POLR1H RNA is linked to patient survival in 28 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated POLR1H data layer compared with 3 for mutation status and 6 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher POLR1H RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated POLR1H expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA and LUAD show a favorable association.

BLCA, KIRP, and LIHC are the cancer types where POLR1H RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
