Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, POLR1C Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated POLR1C data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher POLR1C Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated POLR1C expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
ESCA, PRAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where POLR1C Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
