Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, POLL Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated POLL data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher POLL Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated POLL expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC, THCA, and UCEC are the cancer types where POLL Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
