Across TCGA patient cohorts, POLK mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 44 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible POLK-associated genes across cancer lineages are 14-3-3_beta, EGFR_pY1068, and eIF4E. Each is linked with POLK in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both POLK-to-partner and partner-to-POLK results are reported.
