Across TCGA patient cohorts, POLH protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 1,871 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible POLH-associated genes across cancer lineages are PCDHB15, BMERB1, and FAXDC2. Each is linked with POLH in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both POLH-to-partner and partner-to-POLH results are reported.
