Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, POLD3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated POLD3 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher POLD3 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated POLD3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SKCM, STAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where POLD3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
