Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, POLD2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated POLD2 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher POLD2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated POLD2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
KIRP, MESO, and COAD are the cancer types where POLD2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
