Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, POLB Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated POLB data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher POLB Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated POLB expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
KIRP, UCEC, and LUAD are the cancer types where POLB Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
