Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, POGZ mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated POGZ data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher POGZ mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated POGZ expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and GBM show a favorable association.

HNSC, COAD, and CCRCC are the cancer types where POGZ mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
