Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, POGLUT1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated POGLUT1 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher POGLUT1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated POGLUT1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA and STAD show a favorable association.
SKCM, BLCA, and STAD are the cancer types where POGLUT1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
