Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, POF1B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated POF1B data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher POF1B Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated POF1B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.
UCEC, SKCM, and COAD are the cancer types where POF1B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
