Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PODXL2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PODXL2 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in prostate adenocarcinoma (PRAD), where higher PODXL2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PODXL2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
PRAD, HNSC, and LIHC are the cancer types where PODXL2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
