Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PODXL Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PODXL data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in thymoma (THYM), where higher PODXL Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PODXL expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
THYM and CESC are the cancer types where PODXL Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
