Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PODNL1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PODNL1 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher PODNL1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PODNL1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
ESCA, SCLC, and GBM are the cancer types where PODNL1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
