Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, POC1A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated POC1A data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher POC1A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated POC1A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LIHC are the cancer types where POC1A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
