Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, POC1A mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated POC1A data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher POC1A mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated POC1A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

HNSC and UCEC are the cancer types where POC1A mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
