Cross-omicsPROTEIN-MS → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts
Across TCGA patient cohorts, PNPLA3 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 299 significant associations in total. LUAD shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible PNPLA3-associated genes across cancer lineages are CYP4Z1, AQP8, and DNPH1. Each is linked with PNPLA3 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PNPLA3-to-partner and partner-to-PNPLA3 results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, PNPLA3 versus CYP4Z1 in BRCA, with a Pearson correlation of -0.78.
protein abundance associated genes by consensus
Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (PNPLA3→partner) and Y-score (partner→PNPLA3) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
