Across TCGA patient cohorts, PNOC protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 4,059 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible PNOC-associated genes across cancer lineages are PRODH, SEZ6L, and SEPTIN3. Each is linked with PNOC in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PNOC-to-partner and partner-to-PNOC results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, PNOC versus PRODH in GBM, with a Pearson correlation of 0.31.
