Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PNMA8A mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PNMA8A data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), where higher PNMA8A mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PNMA8A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as GBM and LSCC show a favorable association.

GBM, LSCC, and PDAC are the cancer types where PNMA8A mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
