Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PNKD Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PNKD data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher PNKD Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PNKD expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
UCEC, SCLC, and SKCM are the cancer types where PNKD Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
