Across TCGA patient cohorts, PNISR mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 29 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PNISR-associated genes across cancer lineages are eIF4E, MEK1, and Notch1. Each is linked with PNISR in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PNISR-to-partner and partner-to-PNISR results are reported.
