Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PMS2CL RNA is linked to patient survival in 20 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PMS2CL data layer compared with 3 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher PMS2CL RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PMS2CL expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PAAD and LAML show a favorable association.

KICH, CESC, and COAD are the cancer types where PMS2CL RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
