Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PMS2CL Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PMS2CL data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher PMS2CL Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PMS2CL expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LUSC, UCEC, and LUAD are the cancer types where PMS2CL Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
