Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PMS1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PMS1 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher PMS1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PMS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and BLCA show a favorable association.
LUAD, UCEC, and BRCA are the cancer types where PMS1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
