Across TCGA patient cohorts, PMS1 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 5,752 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PMS1-associated genes across cancer lineages are NCAPD3, TMEM237, and ZNF3. Each is linked with PMS1 in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PMS1-to-partner and partner-to-PMS1 results are reported.
