Across TCGA patient cohorts, PMPCA mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 17 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PMPCA-associated genes across cancer lineages are VHL, eEF2, and GAPDH. Each is linked with PMPCA in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PMPCA-to-partner and partner-to-PMPCA results are reported.
