Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PLXDC1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PLXDC1 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher PLXDC1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PLXDC1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD show a favorable association.
HNSC, STAD, and BRCA are the cancer types where PLXDC1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
