Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PLVAP Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PLVAP data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher PLVAP Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PLVAP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
KIRC and UCEC are the cancer types where PLVAP Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
