Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PLPP2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PLPP2 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher PLPP2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PLPP2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
CESC, READ, and LIHC are the cancer types where PLPP2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
